Our daily life is immerse in a continous fluxus of immages, slowly flipping the meaning of visual memory. In this particular context, do we care more about the meaning of the image or the image itself?

The lonely scroller is a video that deal with the practice of selfie, highlighting the behaviours of self representation in the digital era. The project explores a context in continuous growth, which sees as the main focus the infinite sharing and moltiplication of immages. The medium, by appropriating the persuasive strategies of social medias, takes form in an inventory of photographic habits and ways of self expression which are emerged on-line in the last years.
