In the Zen tradition, meditation is something eternal, open, empty space that is nothing but dynamic potential. It gives us the power to positively experience everything that can refer to thoughts, feelings and physical sensations. Meditation is not only in our mind, it also manifests in places.

Sites of Mediation is a big and small format photographic series developed while doing an exchange semester at the Kyoto University of Art and Design. The research focuses on places, moments and temporal emotions that can reflect a sense of meditation. Coherently with the concept, the series is then developed and printed through analogic mediums, making the process itself a practice of meditation. The series, together with other students work, were displayed in an exhibition that was held at the Kyoto University of Art and Design.
